How to Reset Your SAP Concur Password or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

This article provides instructions for users who are unable to log into SAP Concur because they have forgotten their password or need to reset their Two-Factor Authentication (or MFA) settings. This commonly occurs after getting a new mobile device or losing access to the authenticator app.

 

Symptoms

You may be experiencing one of the following issues:

  • You receive an "Invalid username or password" error message when trying to log in.
  • You are not receiving 2FA/MFA prompts or codes on your mobile device.
  • You have a new phone and can no longer authenticate.

 

Environment

  • Product: SAP Concur
  • Platform: Web Portal (concursolutions.com) and the SAP Concur Mobile App
  • User Type: End user

 

Root Cause

The most common causes for this issue are:

  • The user has forgotten their current password.
  • The user has a new mobile device, and the 2FA token is still linked to their old device.
  • The authenticator application (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator) was uninstalled or its data was cleared.

 

Resolution Steps

Please follow the steps for the specific issue you are facing.

Password Reset

  1. Navigate to www.concursolutions.com  
  2. Enter your SAP Concur username (Login ID)
  3. Click Next

  4. Choose to Sign in with SAP Concur Password

  5. On the enter password screen, click the link "Forgot your password?" to request an email with a link to reset your password

  6. Check your email inbox for a message from SAP Concur containing a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

2FA Reset (New Phone or Lost Access)

  1. On the SAP Concur sign-in page, enter your username and choose SAP Concur Password to enter your password.
  2. On the Two-factor Authentication page, click Unable to enter authentication code.
  1. On the Reset 2FA page, click Send.


 A reset email is sent to your email address.


 

  1. Open the Two-Factor Authentication Reset Request that was sent from noreply@concur.com to the address configured on the My Profile – Personal Information page in SAP Concur solutions.

  1. On the SAP Concur Sign In page, enter your password.

  2. On the Set Up Two-factor Authentication page, follow from steps 6 on in Section 2: Enroll in 2FA to re-enroll in 2FA for SAP Concur.

 

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you don't receive the password reset email, please check your Junk or Spam folder.
  • When setting a new password, ensure it meets the company's complexity requirements (e.g., length, special characters).
  • For MFA codes to work correctly, ensure your phone's date and time are set to update automatically.
